Best Fall Festivals in Phoenix
Best Fall Festivals in Phoenix
Hey there! It’s fall and that means that it’s time for festivals in Arizona! Now that it’s cooling down, we are able to host festivals outside and it’s the perfect time to visit our great state! I’m sharing the best fall festivals that are being held in October. Come see them all or just your favorite, but these are the best fall festivals in Phoenix you need to see!
Arizona Taco Festival // 10/12-10/13
Who wouldn’t love to eat tacos for two days straight?! This taco festival is also a competition, and 2019 is its 10th year! Over 50 restaurants will be competing in this taco competition. A general admission ticket gets you into the event for $3 tacos and themed party bars serving your favorite booze (or sodas!).
Arizona State Fair // 10/4-10/27
The state fair is always a big hit! This year’s theme is “Pixel yourself at the Arizona state fair” and I think that’s adorable. Besides the typical rides and petting zoos that you normally see at the fair, there are some other fun attractions coming with this year’s theme. There’s going to be an Esports Gaming World for the first time, as well as a retro arcade. There’s also going to be concerts almost every night, and some of the highlights include Awolnation, Lil Pump, Trace Adkins, and Billy Currington. There’s so much to do at the state fair!
Four Peaks Oktoberfest // 10/11-10/13
This is one of the biggest festivals that I hear about here in Phoenix, besides the state fair. The Four Peaks Oktoberfest is held at Tempe Town Lake and is free for admission. One cool feature of this festival is that there is an adult festival, a kids festival, and a kinder festival. At a place where there is a lot of booze being served, it’s nice that there is a place for kids to hang out away from it. So, come spend a nice October weekend with family and friends, and booze and brats!

Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular // 10/25-10/26
The Balloon Spooktacular offers kids a safe and fun way to trick-or-treat under the glow of hot air balloons. Hot air balloons are a common sight in Arizona in the fall and spring, and this festival allows kids to see the beauty of these big balloons up close and personal. There’s also a KidsZone and a pumpkin patch so they can find their perfect jack-o-lantern pumpkin.
Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party // 10/3-10/31 (Thursday-Sunday only)
Schnepf Farms is the ultimate fall activity experience here in Arizona. This farm is the ultimate fall date or family fun day location. There are hayrides, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, pig races, and chili. They also have a fireworks show every Friday and Saturday night which is perfect to kick off the weekend. There are so many fun things to do at Schnepf Farms, it’s an absolute must-see in October here in Phoenix.

No matter your jam, there is something fun for everyone here in the fall.
