Where You Can Find Awesome Student Discounts

Happy Thursday!

I’ve definitely had a pretty good week so far, however, the next two weeks are going to be difficult with projects and tests. The end is near, but so are the finals! Anyway, today I wanted to share with you some awesome discounts to some great places with your student ID.

Discounts are always something that seems to slip the mind of college students. College is expensive and many students might not have jobs, so their spending money may be limited. Well, places realize this and give discounts to students with a valid student ID! Today, I’m going to share some of my favorite student discounts, how much, and if you need your student ID or to do something else.

Academic Superstore: Offers many discounts to students on various software products!

Adobe: Get up to 60% off retail from http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students

Allstate: You {or your parents} can get discounted car insurance for you. up to 20%, for full-time students under 25! {I participate in this!} Your local agent can give you more details.

Amazon Student Program: Free to join, six months of free two-day shipping, and at the end of the six month period you can elect to pay an annual $39 fee. {I looked this up, you need your school email address and have to share which class level you are.}

AMC Theatres: You can get discounted tickets on Thursdays only with your student ID.

Apple: Apple has the education store, which gives certain universities $50-$200 off Apple products. You can go to apple.com/education and see if your university qualifies!

ASOS: 10% off full-price items online. Must register with UNiDAYS.

Chick-Fil-A: Get a free drink with purchase and a valid student ID.

Chipotle: Get a free drink with purchase and a valid student ID.

Greyhound: 20% off unrestricted tickets to many locations.

J.Crew: 15% off full price, in-store, with student ID. Plus, you local J.Crew/J.Crew Factory may do college events during the semester!

Kate Spade: 15% off, full price, in-store, with student ID.

Microsoft: 10% of Surface Products, and PC’s at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/students/default.aspx

Spotify Premium: You can get up to 50% off a premium account!

Sprint, Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile: Participating schools are offered a discount on your monthly bill. You’ll have to contact them for the details.

Local Museum: Check out your local museums and see if they have any special pricing for students!

One thing I noticed when looking up some stores was that they wanted you to register with UNiDAYS. UNiDAYS is used to verify your student status, so they know you’re actually a college student. Signing up and verifying is super easy for all of the discounts! I highly suggest doing this, because some stores have only online discounts and this is how they verify. {Yay online shopping!}

There are many student discounts out there! UNiDAYS is a really good resource to find them, as well as Google! If you’re unsure if a store has one, you can always ask and see! The worst thing they could say is no. So go out there and get all the discounts!
