December 2018 Blog Traffic Report
Hey there! Today I’m sharing my December 2018 Blog Traffic Report and my year-end blog stats! I’ve enjoyed keeping track of these numbers throughout 2018 and I think I’m going to keep this series up in 2019.
Every month I share my traffic stats to show what my numbers are, how I use social media to drive traffic to my blog and to share that it’s okay to have lower numbers. Many traffic reports show these big numbers and make newer bloggers feel disappointed about their numbers. Remember, it’s not always about the numbers. You can have lower numbers but a tight-knit community. Stop comparing, and do you!
So, let’s get into this month’s (and 2018’s) numbers!
This month I had 1,099 users and 1,209 sessions that resulted in 1,666 pageviews. For 2018, I ended the year with 13,980 users, 15,180 sessions, and 19,902 pageviews.
For Twitter, I ended the month with 25,900 impressions and 1,108 followers, which is awesome! For 2018, I had 290,100 tweet impressions, which is pretty impressive!
I still am using Google Calendar and IFTTT to schedule my tweets for me, but I tried to be more active myself on Twitter. I participated in a Twitter chat which helped me remember that blogging is a community and we all grow with help from each other.
I ended the month with 131,828 impressions and 112,903 viewers total for the whole month. That rounds out to an average of 4,253 impressions and an average of 3,642 daily viewers for all of my pins. I also ended the month with 1,918 followers, which was an increase of 56 followers from last month, which is an increase from last month! For 2018, I had a total of 688,226 impressions and 560,888 viewers.
I also ended the month with an average of 143,063 monthly viewers and 8,267 average monthly engaged users. For 2018, I had an average of 97,028 monthly viewers and 5,350 average monthly engaged users.
This is from me manually pinning my pins when I could and then Pinterest just doing the rest. I tried to be good about getting on Pinterest every day because I’m manually pinning. It seemed to pay off this month with Pinterest!
This month I got 108,816 impressions and 97,201 viewers. That means that my pins get 3,510 average daily impressions and 3,136 average daily viewers. This is a pretty big increase compared to last month. For 2018, I had 727,395 impressions and 650,024 viewers. This averaged out to 2,122 average daily impressions and 1,895 average daily viewers.
