Happy Mother’s Day!
So this post is going to be a more personal one, it’s really going to be a letter to my amazing mother. As you know, today is Mother’s Day and I figured I would basically showcase the wonderful woman that is my mom, to you all today!
Also, as many people close to me, and you might have realized, I am far better at communicating my feelings through writing as opposed to speaking them; I don’t know why, that is just who I am and how I operate.
Mom,
What can I say to you mom that would make you realize how wonderful you are? You have always been there for me, whether I wanted you there or not. Although it took me until going off to college to realize how much you truly were, and still are, there for me I’m glad I realized it sooner rather than later. Thank you for supporting me in every single thing that I’ve wanted to do from softball, to choir, to theatre, to going to college out of state, and even the things I’ve thought about doing but decided against for whatever reason. No matter what I came up with, you always stood by me and made sure that I always had someone behind me.
Also, I just have to say that you are basically a superhero; there is something super-human about you. From juggling two high schoolers, a job, and a husband to being a chauffeur and keeping your friend you have managed to do it all. In the past seven months, especially, you have been holding it together for everyone. I can only pray to be at least half the wife and mother that you are today.
I hope you know how much I appreciate you. I’m sorry it took until me leaving for college to see how much you have truly done for me but I really do appreciate you and love you mom. You are a fantastic mom and amazing woman. I hope you have a fabulous Mother’s Day and that you are treated like a queen today and everyday because you are a queen. I love you mom, hopefully I’ll come back and visit soon because I miss you! Have a great day!
Love always +forever

Very well done! XOXO
Beautiful post Lauren! I am certain that those words meant the world to your Mom and made her heart grow bigger and tears pour. More than any card or store bought gift ever could. To all the Moms out there who are this fantastic, it is not an easy job, I know. Never give up :)To all the Moms out there who may not hear it back from their children, may they some day realize that your love is never ending. My mom is 91 and I am happy to say I have no regrets and do not feel I have ever left her feel on Mother's Day or any other day not worthy of that praise and love. Not even as a teen. Love you MOM!Happy Mother's Day to your Mom Lauren!!!! She raised a beautiful daughter full of love and kindness. I hope as your dreams proceed in life, you find a way to share that with others in some way in your future endeavors.. whether it be children, elderly, or simply society and the people you meet and greet.
