January 2017 Blog Traffic Report
Hey there! It’s the end of the month and that means that it is time to share this month’s traffic report. I know I didn’t have one for the end of the year, which bummed me out. Unfortunately, work got very busy. But, here is the traffic report. Every month I share my traffic stats to show what my numbers are, how I use social media to drive traffic to my blog and to share that it’s okay to have lower numbers. Many traffic reports show these big numbers and make newer bloggers feel disappointed about their numbers. Remember, it’s not always about the numbers. You can have lower numbers but a tight-knit community. Stop comparing, and do you!
So, here are my stats for January 2017. For January, I did pretty well, better than I have been doing over the past couple of months.
This month I had 737 users and 1,156 pageviews. My bounce rate was 78.75 which is usually where it hovers around, so nothing too bad this month. This is the best that I have done traffic wise in a long time. I do believe this has to do with me getting back into my blog this month, which is great!
For Twitter, I ended the month with 23,700 impressions.
I continued the Google Calendar and IFTTT strategy of scheduling my tweets.
I ended the month with 34,974 impressions and 16,380 viewers for the month of January. I also ended the month with 988 followers, a 78 follower increase from the last time I recorded my followers in November. I’m so close to 1,000 Pinterest followers and I’m so excited about it!
I ended the month with an average of 18,746 viewers and an average of 554 engaging with my pins. Although my average monthly viewers decreased from November, my average number of engaged did rise, so that is good.
I’m excited to get back into Pinterest in the coming months to regrow my numbers, as Pinterest was always my big driving force behind my traffic!
Email Subscribers
I haven’t really been sending out emails, and by that, I mean that I haven’t sent one out in a couple of months. However, since I do have my opt-ins still available, I have still gotten subscribers on to my email list. I have exactly 100 subscribers on my main email list, plus there were some added in January on my ebook and email course lists! That is an increase in 8 subscribers from November on my main list.
I’m hoping to send out emails again this year. I want to be able to provide valuable content to my email list, and that is one thing I have struggled with.
I rebooted my Etsy shop, Arizona Designs Co. I sell printable stickers that fit the Me and My Big Ideas Classic Size Happy Planner, college printables, and printables that you can hang on your wall! Head on over and let me know what you like!
I hope you enjoyed this month’s traffic report! Are you a blogger that shares their traffic numbers? Let me know, I would love to check it out!
