July 2018 Blog Traffic Report
Edit 8/8/18: It appears Pinterest’s analytics software is being glitchy, therefore I cannot verify the accuracy of the data provided, except for the “Profile” section. Looking back, I can tell that my “People You Reach” stopped updating on the 28th, so that stat is not accurate. Also, on the my “Website” data, there were days that were showing 0 (the 25th and 26th) that then showed data days later. (I’m also seeing that happen for August). The data that may be inaccurate is marked with an asterisk (*).
Hey there! Today I wanted to share my July 2018 blog traffic report. I was pretty consistent in posting this month, only taking a break when we went on vacation.
Every month I share my traffic stats to show what my numbers are, how I use social media to drive traffic to my blog and to share that it’s okay to have lower numbers. Many traffic reports show these big numbers and make newer bloggers feel disappointed about their numbers. Remember, it’s not always about the numbers. You can have lower numbers but a tight-knit community. Stop comparing, and do you!
So, let’s get into this month’s numbers!
This month I had 1,289 users and 1,362 sessions that resulted in 1,853 pageviews. I was pretty happy with this month’s stats. I was also happy that I was able to consistently post again.
For Twitter, I ended the month with 14,900 impressions and 983 followers, which is on par for my normal months where I let me Twitter auto-post.
I still am using Google Calendar and IFTTT to schedule my tweets for me. I did finally go through and change up the content that I wanted to share. I can’t wait to see how it helps (or maybe not)!
I ended the month with 56,235 impressions and 48,823 viewers total for the whole month. That rounds out to an average of 1,814 impressions and an average of 1,575 daily viewers for all of my pins. I also ended the month with 1,536 followers, which was an increase of 76 followers from last month, which is awesome!
I also ended the month with an average of 88,265* monthly viewers and 5,416* average monthly engaged users. That is on par with last month.
I did not use Tailwind at all, I canceled my paid plan because I wasn’t using it. This is from me manually pinning my pins when I could and then Pinterest just doing the rest.
I decided that I wanted to show the analytics that shows only pins from my website as well. So, this month I got 26,107* impressions and 22,411* viewers. That means that my pins get 865* average daily impressions and 742* average daily viewers.

I ended the month with 615 visits and 819 listing views. I also had 42 favorites, 4 were shop favorites and 38 were listing favorites. This month I had 3 sales which is on par with last month.
I hope you enjoyed this month’s traffic report!
Fantastic tips. I love each the points you have mentioned in your article. I like to use SumoMe since Sumo comes with excellent social sharing functionality. Additionally it is packaged as three separate apps — Share, Picture Sharer, and Highlighter.Social skips
