May Blog Traffic Report (2019)

Hey there! It’s June already, what the heck! That means that it’s time to share my May 2019 bog traffic report!

Every month I share my traffic stats to show what my numbers are, how I use social media to drive traffic to my blog and to share that it’s okay to have lower numbers. Many traffic reports show these big numbers and make newer bloggers feel disappointed about their numbers. Remember, it’s not always about the numbers. You can have lower numbers but a tight-knit community. Stop comparing, and do you!

So, let’s get into this month’s numbers! This month was pretty good numbers wise. I tried to work on my Tailwind strategy, as well as creating fresh pins for Pinterest.

Google Analytics

This month I had 1,296 users and 1,403 sessions that resulted in 1,812 pageviews. That’s a little bit better than last month. Pinterest was still my main traffic referrer. I’ve been working hard on trying to have Pinterest bring me consistent traffic.

Twitter

For Twitter, I ended May with 38,400 impressions and 1,258 followers. That’s a follower decrease of 2 followers. I wasn’t really active on Twitter besides my automation posting again this month. Sometimes I just feel like things just get too overwhelming. I do scroll through my Twitter, but with a full-time job, it’s hard to post inspiring tweets without having to schedule them. If I do schedule them, I feel like I’m not being authentic. So, I’m trying to figure out what to do when it comes to Twitter because I do like to follow others and actually connect with other bloggers! I ended the month with 171,514 impressions and 139,504 viewers total for the whole month. I also ended the month with 2,413 followers, which was an increase of 81 followers from last month! Tailwind has definitely helped me consistently post on Pinterest. There have been a couple of times that my scheduler got down to zero, but I try not to let that happen. I’m hoping that the tips in Ell’s Pinterest course regarding Tailwind

I also ended the month with an average of 156,102 monthly viewers and 5,283 average monthly engaged users. This is another slight decrease from the month before. This number stayed pretty stagnant throughout the month. I’m working on trying to increase through Tailwind

This month I got 212,908 impressions and 176,350 viewers for just my website’s pins. That means that my pins get 6,890 average daily impressions and 5,716 average daily viewers. Even though some of my other numbers stayed stagnant, or even decreased a little bit, these numbers actually increased. This has to do with the fact that I’ve been constantly pinning new pins for posts.

Have we connected on Pinterest? I’m at @creativelylauren and I’d love to connect!
