Must Read College Posts

Hey there! Today I wanted to share something that I haven’t done in quite a while, which makes me sad. I’m doing a roundup post! I was inspired to do this post by Sara of Sara Strives. She actually tagged one of my posts in her roundup post and made me realize that I haven’t done one of these in a while, even though I have found some awesome college posts!

I'm sharing my favorite college posts from other bloggers! Get ready for the new semester with these posts!

So, with that being said, here are my must-read college posts for the upcoming semester!

Ultimate College Clothing Packing List by Sofia of Life et Moi

I thought this post was great! I know myself and I am one to overpack and bring everything with me, which is completely unnecessary and actually a bad idea. I also love that she gives you do’s and don’ts about what to bring with you. I know it seems like you want to bring everything with you, all of your clothes and belongings because you can’t live without them! Chances are that you’ll be so busy with school work, new semester activities, and hanging out with friends that you’ll be too busy to use some of the stuff you bring.

10 Stationery Must-Haves for College by Ashley of The Honey Scoop

I know, do you really need stationery for college? Yes! You do need basics like a planner, pen pouch, laptop sleeve, etc. This post gives you cute options for stationery items that are essential for the year but also make you happy because they are super cute! I love stationery, especially cute stationery and that was definitely one of the things that made me happy. Cute stationery made me want to study more and color code things.

Buying and Renting Textbooks:When and Where by Sara of Sara Strives

This post is amazing! I know textbooks are super expensive sometimes and usually “mandatory” (even if they’re not). Sara dives deep into figuring out the best way of finding affordable textbooks (if available) and shares how to get the same results for yourself! You know you’re going to need textbooks, might as well try and get the most bang for your buck.

65 Things I Wish I Had Known Before Coming to College by Jasmin of Macarons and Mascara

I love these kinds of posts. Everyone’s college experience is different but also helpful to new college students. Freshmen have no idea what to expect and this post shares her experience but also gives tips to new students and allows the new student to reflect on what they think they will do in school. I think it’s important for students, and graduates, to share their experience because everyone’s experience is unique but those experiences can be helpful to others. Sometimes these posts let them know what to expect or how to plan, or they let them know that they’re not the only one that feels a certain way about a situation.

Ultimate Guide: How to Study for an Exam by Sarah of The Olden Chapters

Exams are a part of college and sometimes new students don’t know how to study for an exam or they just don’t know how to study. This post goes in-depth and gives helpful steps to actually study. She involves mind maps, flashcards, textbooks, and notes to create a cohesive study session to help you ace your exams! Exams are hard and they suck but having a plan of attack will hopefully make them a little bit easier.

That’s it! These are my favorite college posts from this back-to-school season!
