My Bullet Journal Supplies
Hey there! Today I wanted to share with you my favorite bullet journal supplies. I found out about bullet jouraling at the end of 2016 and have been loving it ever since. I love my bullet journal and I definitely think that anyone who hasn’t really found the planner that works for them should try using a bullet journal. That is why I tried, I couldn’t find a planner system that really worked for me. I wanted to create something for myself. With that being said, here is the list of my bullet journal supplies.

Notebook
So, of course you need to start with a notebook. I use the Moleskine notebook in size large.
Specifically, I use the Classic Notebook, soft cover, dotted, in Sapphire, size large. Here is the link. Bullet journalling is typically used with a dotted notebook. The dots are more faint on the paper, so it is more aesthetically pleasing, at least to me it is. Some other brands I’ve heard of are Leuchtturm1917, Scribbles That Matter, and Lemome. You’ll want to find a journal that has a good paper weight. Heavier paper weight means less ghosting!
Pens
My favorite pens are the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 0.3mm pens. I have the 20 pack but you can get up to 42 in one pack. These pens write smoothly. They do ghost, and even bleed, a little bit in my Moleskine. They only bleed if I push too hard or hold it in one spot for too long. The ghosting doesn’t bother me that much, so it’s okay. I also use the Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner
0.4mm pens. These pens are very similar to the Staedtler pens, and most of the colors in my set is the same as Staedtler. I honestly bought them because I heard high remarks in the bullet journal Facebook group I’m in. They ghost similarly to the Staedtler pens, but like I mentioned, I don’t really mind that. These are the two main pens that I use
I also use some Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I use these to try to do some handlettering, which is a little hard for me since I am left handed. Otherwise, I use them just to add some flair to my pages. I also use some highlighters. I use the Zebra Highlighter Mildliner
set, they are double-sided highlighters. They have a handful of sets but I just use the typical highlighter colors.
I also use PenGem pens in my bullet journal. PenGem is run by Angel Elizabeth from Texas. PenGem pens are beautiful pens with crystals in the pen as well as a gem on top, they are absolutely gorgeous! I use my PenGem pens to write my daily thoughts at the end of the day.

I use my two other sets of pens to decorate my bullet journal and my PenGem pens to write stuff down during the day. I’m going to be doing a dedicated post on PenGems in the future.
Other Supplies
My favorite supply to use with my bullet journal is washi tape. Washi tape helps me decorate my journal, as well as help me organize months. My absolute favorite washi tape store is Simply Gilded. Simply Gilded is run by Irene Kwong from Texas. She is currently selling Etsy, however, she will be switching to her standalone site next month. She creates beautiful designer, and exclusive, washi designs. She also has a monthly subscription box, which I am subscribed to. I’m going to do a whole dedicated post as well on Simply Gilded, but let me give you a peak at her washi from her Instagram account. (You’ll see mine in the other posts and I do have her permission to use her photos)

I also use stencils in my bullet journal. I’m not the best freehand drawer when it comes to headers and flags, so stencils really help out. Amazon has a nice set of stencils, I use the 20 Piece Bullet Journal Stencil Set. They are not too thin or too thick, and they fit perfectly in the back pocket of my Moleskine. They definitely help me make my bullet journal look nice.
These are my favorite bullet journal supplies that I currently use. If you’re thinking of starting a bullet journal, I highly suggest checking out some of the items linked above. I also suggest checking out Pinterest and Instagram for some inspiration. If you do use a bullet journal, let me know your favorite supplies in the comments!
