My Undergraduate Graduation

I know this post is coming much later than I thought it was, but once I graduated, I hit the ground running with work. The holidays meant that work got crazy really quickly. However, I believe that it is better late than never when it comes to posting about my graduation, as it is a big accomplishment!

So, on December 12, 2016, I went through the undergraduate commencement ceremony for Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. I received my degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a focus in business. The ceremony was in front of Fletcher Library and was beautiful!

My mom came out from Southern California the day before the ceremony. Matt and I got to take her to some of our favorite places in Phoenix. It was nice to get to show her around and take her to some of our favorite restaurants.

The entire ceremony felt surreal to me, I couldn’t believe that I finally had made it to graduation! All of my hard work over the past three and a half years had finally brought me to that moment. I got to walk across the stage, and did not trip! It was an amazing experience getting to shake the Dean’s hand and be congratulated!

Here are some pictures from the ceremony:

I had such an amazing day and I was so lucky to have my mom and Matt there to watch me walk. Although I didn’t have my whole family, I had people there who loved me and that was enough for me. I’m glad that I have these pictures to show and to look back and remember that day. I hope you enjoyed this post!
