Wednesday Finds
Happy hump day!
It’s the middle of the week, sometimes it seems like a drag so I’m going to tell you some interesting things I’ve learned recently!
One Broadway House Ticket: My theater professor used to live in New York City. He told us that now in any Broadway show house if your cell phone goes off, you could receive a high priced ticket. A ticket! For your phone going off! That is crazy! My theater class is great, I’ll probably tell you more awesome information throughout the semester
Two NYC Speed Limit Change: Matt told me today that the citywide speed limit in New York City has dropped from 30 MPH to 25 MPH. 25 MPH, that’s a crawl! If you don’t believe me, check it out here! Do you think this will work?
Three Glitter: Have you ever wanted to send glitter to your enemies? Well as I was browsing Yahoo’s home page, I saw a story saying that an Australian website will send {anonymously} glitter to your enemies for only $8.The website is ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com and {according to Yahoo} they’ve already received 800 orders since they launched Monday. That’s a lot of glitter! {See the story here}.
Four Diamond Candles: Yes, that read diamond candles. I saw someone mention them on Twitter and I had to see what the heck it was! It turns out, it’s pretty simple. After reading Diamond Candles’ About Page, I quickly learned what this was. Okay so, you buy a candle with a $10 ring that has a code attached to it. Then you go back to their website, login and register your code. The website searches and tells you that you’ve either discovered a ring worth $100, $1,000 or $5,000. If you’re lucky you can design your own ring! This money is a credit towards a ring from their ring boutique Check here if you’re still a little confused about this or if you have other questions click here.
Have you seen/read/heard anything interesting lately?
-XOXO
